Veteran's Day is tomorrow, Here are some of our favorite family-friendly movies that take place (at least in part) in a war setting. Many are about real people. Some are inspiring. Some are simply funny. Each in it's own way reminds us that as C. S. Lewis Says

Hi All, some of you might not know that we are Mormon.

Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration

We believe Joseph Smith restored the same gospel and church

that Christ established when he was on the earth.

Joseph Smith also translated the Book of Mormon and was the first prophet of this dispensation.

Here is our #1 recommended film to watch to learn about Joseph Smith and the Mormon faith.

The Testaments

Mormon's believe that when Christ said "Other sheep I have that are not of this fold"

that he was referring to people in the Americas.

We believe that Christ visited the Americas after his Resurrection. This film tells that story.

Many people know that the Mormon's immigrated to Utah to have a place to practice their religion in peace. The next 3 films are about that era.

I'm sure many of you have seen Mormon missionaries. They devote 1.5-2 years of their lives at their own expense to come and share a message with you about Jesus Christ and his gospel. These next 4 films are about missionaries. (Okay, the first 3 are about missionaries, the 4th about a return missionary)

The Home Teachers

Mormons believe in watching over each other. So there are 2 men assigned to each family to visit each month and share a gospel message, make sure the family is doing okay, and see if there is anything they can do for the family. This is a comedy about that.
