Oh to be as imperturbable as William Powell

William Powell is best known for being sedate and absolutely imperturbable in most of his films, which is one reason why his film Life with Father has such subtle humor because he definitely steps out of character with that film. His career spanned from 1922 to 1955. He is best known for his Thin Man series which is a crime series. But our favorite films with him are below.

Spencer Tracy - He makes us smile, he makes us think, he makes us want to be a better person

Spencer Tracy played in a large variety of films over his 37 film career.  Some entertain us.  Some make us want to be a better person.  Almost all his films make us think about life.  We hope you enjoy these films as much as we do.

Spencer Tracy does not star in this movie, he only has a cameo appearance, Tracy appears as a man admiring a portrait of Edison.  But I thought you might love to see this film of Thomas Edison.  Thomas Edison really was a genius and a hero.
