Introducing Charles Coburn . . .

He made too many movies to begin to count. He rarely played a main character. But his characters in the movies seemed to know how to get things done and not take no for an answer. I'll try to break his movies down into categories though each of them have beautifully romantic elements.

4 of our favorite movies about being Thankful

November, the Month of Gratitude, is here.  Here are 4 of our favorite movies about being thankful.

Pollyanna is a movie about a girl who looks for something to be glad about, even in times of sadness, and isn't that what being thankful is all about.

Madame Blueberry is a movie about a woman who keeps wanting more and more.  It teaches us that we can be just as happy, and perhaps even more happy with just something simple.

The ultimate gift is about an entitled young man from an entitled family who learns to be grateful for what he has and decides he wants to use it to bless others.

It's a wonderful life starts with a man in a desperate situation who is given the gift for how much his life has made a difference to others, which in turn makes him grateful for life.
