40 Movies Against Prejudice

 We believe that every human on earth is a child of God.  That we are all brothers and sisters, and that we should love one another as we would want to be loved and treat people the way we would want to be treated.  I'll be sharing some of our favorite movies on this subject, but first I wanted to start with one of our favorite songs on the subject.



We love that The Constitution of the United States of America says among other things - "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."


All that said, here are some of our favorite movies that remind us that 
prejudice is never good
and that we always want to stand up against prejudice  
and treat people as the brothers and sisters that we really are.

**While most of the movie we recommend are family friendly, these films deal with prejudice and often include a depiction of violence or other adult issue that took place.  Our suggestion is that you view them first to decide for yourself what is appropriate for your family standards.

Although the short TED Talk below is not I thought it was important to include because there is so much discrimination against poverty and equal education seems to be a great way out.

I don't have many movies about discrimination against Hispanics or Women or American Indians simply because I'm not familiar with movies about the subject.  But if you know of some, please include them in the comments.
